Twin Newborn Lifestyle Photos – Alpine, Utah

Jake and Em and I go wayyy back a few years. I still remember when I got the email from them. Emily had a photographer booked for her wedding, but her photographer had backed out because of some high school drama that happened with the photographer and Em’s sister. Em and Jake were getting married soon and were now in need of a new photographer. I was on a trip to North Dakota at the time, so as soon as I got back, we met and talked about their wedding.

Shooting their wedding ended up being such a big blessing! Not only did I get to do their engagements, formals, and wedding day, but I have also since then photographed the two of them a couple of times. Emily had texted me to tell me that she was pregnant, then a few weeks later, I got another text that she was pregnant with TWINS!!!!!! I was seriously so excited!! I got to even take their maternity photos.

I was waiting and waiting so anxiously for the twins to be born! Callum and Cohen ended up actually having the coolest birth story. Once was born right before midnight and then the other born right after midnight. SO THEY HAVE DIFFERENT BIRTHDAYS! How freaking cool is that? I still think that is the coolest. I got to be the lucky person to take the twin newborn lifestyle photos. We set up the blue backdrop in their garage and then we went inside for more photos. The backdrop is actually seamless paper, and I get it from Pictureline in Salt Lake. I LOVE seamless paper, but it does not work well with wind hahahaha so I definitely recommend using it indoors or in a garage. Aren’t their little boys the cutest??
