Great Saltair Baby Announcement – Salt Lake City – The Great Saltair
I love the Saltair, and I love these two. Ashley and I go way back. We met when we were probably 3 years old! Our older sisters were friends, and by default, we would have playdates. It’s actually super funny, though, because we did not get along at all. We would always fight, but we kept having playdates anyways! We were even in the same kindergarten class, and we played together and still didn’t get along. It wasn’t until elementary school that we started getting along. Turns out, by the time we graduated, Ashley was my best friend. In fact, she’s just about the only person from high school that I still keep in touch with.
She and Trever met and got married a year after we had graduated high school. They lived in Idaho, and I lived in Utah, but we still kept in touch. Then, when they both graduated, they moved to Utah. FINALLY! They have been married for six years now, and they have the tradition of doing anniversary photos around their anniversary every year. I have been lucky enough to do them most of their anniversaries! This year, when Ashley reached out about their anniversary, she told me they would also have a little surprise.
I am happy for them to add a little guy to their family! I can’t wait to see Ashley as a mom!! Ashley loves sun flares, so we picked the Great Saltair for their baby announcement/anniversary photos. Right when we arrived, though, the wind picked up A TON! It was actually crazy! We only had about 10-15 minutes to brave the wind to get the shots, but somehow we managed to keep both the balloon and the ultrasound pictures still enough for long enough hahaha!
