NEUTRAL FAMILY PHOTOS – MAPLETON, UTAH
I rarely do family photos because I don’t feel like it’s my jam. Anyone who knows me knows that I absolutely love kids. I could be around kids all day long, and I would be so happy! So I actually do enjoy hanging out with families for photos, but I don’t feel like I do it enough to be comfortable with posing. BUT, when a good friend asks me to do family photos, I cannot say no. I actually love doing it for them!
I met Shane and Aimee right after they got married. I think that was 4 or 5 years ago, which is so crazy. Shane is the owner of Staywear. We met at an instameet where I was invited by another clothing company to photograph it. There, I met Shane, and throughout the years, I have helped photograph the clothes that he sells. It’s been fun to watch their family grow, and they are actually even adding another little boy to their family in September! I am so excited for them!!
Aimee loves neutrals, and she had picked out this park to take their neutral family photos at. Their neutral outfits were awesome and complemented the neutral location PERFECTLY. Their little kids are so dang cute! Jack had broken his arm, so his arm is in a cast. Zara was cracking me up! Both kids were getting treats when they would smile for me. Anything to get the shot, right?!?
Can you believe that these were taking in NOVEMBER?!? It was so warm outside! I was sweating! It’s definitely better that it’s warm that if it was super cold outside! The kids sure loved how warm it was outside. I think we only took photos for about 20 minutes, and I think they turned out so wonderfully. We got some really good ones.
