Tamarack Idaho Wedding – Meridian Idaho LDS Temple Sealing – Tamarack Resort.
I got a call last Spring from my friends over at Kindred Rising to see if I would be available to shoot a beautiful backyard wedding in Idaho. I was so grateful to be available for it! They started describing what they knew the wedding would look like, and I could NOT BELIEVE IT! It really was going to be so cool.
And guess what?? It was even cooler in person than I imagined it would be.
Tyler and Sarah’s wedding was a two day event. It started Friday night at their home with a casual dutch oven dinner for their wedding guests. Since everyone traveled to Tamarack Resort for the wedding, they thought it would be so fun to have a fun night where everyone could relax and meet before the big day. The food was pretty dang good, and it was catered by Dutch Oven Den Catering. The home had plenty of fun spaces for the kids to entertain themselves, and the night ended with everyone roasting s’mores over the fire.
The wedding day kicked off at the Meridian Idaho Temple where Sarah and Tyler got sealed. We did a quick group shot, then we spent a bit of time taking photos of Sarah and Tyler around the temple. It was my first time photographing that temple, and it was so pretty! It was also pretty darn busy that day, but we got what we needed!
From there, we headed back to Tamarack Resort for the rest of the wedding festivities. We did family photos of almost all of the guests there, then Tyler and Sarah exchanged vows in a field of Aspens on Sarah’s parent’s property. After the ring exchange, everyone moved into a huge clear tent covered in lights and ate dinner and had the speeches. From there, everyone danced the night away and ate some cake, too.
I worked with the most incredible team to put on this Tamarack Idaho Wedding. They literally made my job so dang easy. I am not at all exaggerating when I say that the entire team was there setting everything up for a week before the wedding. All of the planning was done by Kindred Rising Events, the incredible florals were done by the Potted Pansy, and the tent was done by Idaho Tent and Events.
