FALL WEDDING AT LOULAND FALLS IN SALT LAKE CITY

FALL WEDDING AT LOULAND FALLS

I have been dying to shoot at Louland Falls since I first saw it. The view is incredible, and it is right in between Park City and Salt Lake City. It’s nestled right in the mountains, and it is so quiet. It has a water fall right there on the property, too! Shortly after I shot there, I learned that this venue was actually started by one of my past bride’s dad. How cool is that?

My first time photographing a fall wedding at Louland Falls did not disappoint AT ALL. The fall leaves were in their yellow prime, and the air was nice and crisp. Ryan’s parents have a home near Park City, and that is where everyone got ready for the wedding. The girls were in the basement and the boys were upstairs. The girls all had matching pajamas, and one of Luree’s bridesmaids even stitched some shoes for Luree. How cool is that?

We all headed to Louland Falls once everyone was ready, and we had the ceremony shortly thereafter. I actually love when the ceremony’s are in harsh light because it makes the colors just pop! And even though this was in October, with the sun shining, it kept everyone nice and warm. After the ceremony, they had a cocktail hour, followed by dinner, speeches, and then dancing and desserts.

Can we talk about Luree’s dress and Ryan’s suit for a minute?? I am 100% biased, but my husband’s suit was also green when we got married, so I am a huge sucker for dark green suits. Luree’s dress is also unlike any other dress I have ever photographed, and I am such a fan.

Luree’s Dress is from Alta Moda. The amazing florals were done by Bumble and Blossom. Venue is Louland Falls. Hair and Makeup was done by Utah Hair and Makeup.
