Winter Tibble Fork Engagements – Alpine Loop.
Joe and Angelea! We had so much fun at their session. They planned a trip to Utah and came from Texas in the dead of Winter for their engagements. I mean, it was already cold to me, but where they are used to Texas weather, I am sure Joe and Angelea were even colder. When we arrived, it was actually so windy! I thought for sure we would have to move to a new spot, but right as we got started with photos, the wind literally stopped COMPLETELY! It was still very very cold, and my hands were still frozen by the end, but it was so fun! We were laughing the whole time.
Tibble Fork was one of the first locations that I fell in love with when I started photographing couples. I loved the color of the water, the trees, and the mountains. IT WAS AWESOME. Then, they came in and redid the entire reservoir, and now it’s been way recreationalized. It’s still pretty, but it’s an entirely new location because of how much the construction changed it. Because of that, I had tried to avoid Tibble Fork because I miss how it used to look. BUT, with all of the crazy snow and avalanches this year, Tibble was just about the safest place to go. I did one shoot up there and then the majority of my couples this winter fell in love with it, and now I am back to shooting it all the time. I actually have fallen back in love with Tibble Fork.
Their outfits were also perfect for their winter tibble fork engagements. I love both the pop of color in her sweater and the neutral all black against the pine trees, too! Then her hat, too? It’s from Lack of Colour, and I love it.
