WILDFLOWER ENGAGEMENTS — NORTHERN UTAH.

When Matthew and Taylor got engaged, Matthew was living in Utah and Taylor was living in California. They decided to do their engagements in Utah, and when they hired me, I asked if they would be down to go to a random meadow I had just stumbled upon. It was so beautiful, so green, and it was full of wildflowers. It was pretty off the grid, so there shouldn’t be other people around. In Utah, shooting anywhere with wildflowers that doesn’t have other people there is basically unheard of. They agreed that the meadow was perfect for their wildflower engagements.

When we arrived to the meadow, a storm randomly showed up. It started raining just as we finished up, but we fought the wind just a bit throughout the session. Honestly, in Utah, it’s not uncommon for the weather to just change really quick, so I am pretty used to it! I am just so glad that the weather held up long enough for us to do the session!

I got to shoot their wedding in Temecula the following May, and you can check out how beautiful their wedding was on this blog post.

Taylor is a hairstylist, too! Can’t you tell by how amazing her hair is? She is based in Utah, and her business is Taylored Locks. Since their wedding, Taylor moved to Utah, and we have been able to work together a few times! She did the hair for my bride, Chloè, and she also did the hair for the entire styled shoot in Kanab, too. She killed it every single time. I think the world of her, and I would highly recommend her to anyone.
