DETAILS OF
LOGAN ENGAGEMENT SESSION – LOGAN, UTAH.
About three and a half years ago, I was shooting a wedding in Portland. I was hanging out in the visitor’s center waiting for my couple to come out of the temple, and I was wearing a knee length romper. A cute missionary came up to me and complimented my romper, then she asked what I was doing at the temple. I told her that I was shooting a wedding, so then she asked my name and my Instagram so that one day she could look me up. Fast forward to a Merek and Kate‘s wedding at the end of 2018, and I am sitting at a table during the luncheon. A girl also sitting at the table looked so familiar to me, and I could not figure out why! Well, it turns out it was Matisse! The cute missionary that had asked for my name at the Visitor’s Center. Turns out, she wrote my name down and really did look me up when she got home.
Now, Matisse is getting married, and I get to do her wedding. I truly think this is the coolest thing ever, and I am so pumped about their wedding!!! We got to do their engagement session in Logan where they live, and Matisse is the one who found the location! When she sent me photos of this spot, I couldn’t believe it. It didn’t look real to me! But sure enough, that ivy covered forest is real. Aaron is such a goof and these two had me laughing the whole time. Between their funny faces and funny poses, it was pretty entertaining to me. I loved that we got to shoot two very different looks at this one location, too!! The field with the mountains behind it is so pretty, and the ivy is so cool!!!
