DETAILS OF
MOUNTAIN FALL WEDDING PORTRAITS.
Wade and Mailee had their engagements taken in the mountains–the Tetons to be exact–and they also decided to have their first look and formal wedding portraits in the Utah mountains during peak fall season. If you know me, you know how much I love Fall. It always comes and leaves too soon. I love warm weather and summer, but if fall stuck around forever, I would not complain about it one bit. I don’t mind the air being a little cooler, and when the world blows up in yellows, oranges, and reds, it’s unreal. It’s truly magical. When it is fall, I probably spend every single day enjoying the colorful leaves.
Fall this year stuck around for a bit! It’s not uncommon for winter to show up early with a snowstorm, and it causes all of the leaves to fall off. It’s always a little bit of a gamble when planning in advance and trying to time the fall leaves, especially this year because of how long and hard our winter was earlier this year. I didn’t know if it was going to delay fall or not. Wade and Mailee chose the middle of October for their mountain fall wedding portraits, which is actually the tail end of fall in the mountains here. I drove all around, and this is one of my favorite spots to shoot at during fall. Sure enough, it was still going strong and did not disappoint! It was probably the only spot left in the area with red and orange leaves, which is just what they wanted.
Isn’t Mailee’s bouquet so beautiful? It honestly looks fake, but it was 100% real flowers! The colors matched the leaves so well. I almost could not believe it.
