GRAND TETON ENGAGEMENT SESSION
I grew up just about two hours from the Tetons, and I also spent a lot of time in Yellowstone National Park. I mean, on a clear day, we could see the Tetons from my house. However, it wasn’t until the recent few years that I have actually spent time in the Tetons. I have grown to really love them, and I really love photographing them. If you have not ever visited Grand Teton National Park or Yellowstone National Park, you should add them to your list! They are right next to each other and so cool. You can usually see so many different wild animals, and I was very surprised that we actually did not see any wildlife at all while we were there.
Wade and Mailee love spending time in Grand Teton National Park, so it was the perfect place for their engagement session. They met at college, and the college they both attend is probably about an hour away from the park, so it makes sense that they spend so much time here. We shot their engagements at Schwabacher Landing, and it’s one of my favorite spots in the entire park. They said that even though they spend time in the park, they hadn’t ever been to this spot. It’s super easy to get to, and you cannot beat that view and angle of the mountain range. There are trees, water, and sage brush there. It truly has everything that you could want, and it doesn’t require any hiking at all–which is a major plus. I am pretty sure we saw at least 3 different wedding photoshoots happening while we were there. I even edited out a bride and groom from the background of a few of their photos.
