SNOWY MOUNTAIN ENGAGEMENTS – BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON – SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH
Sam and Brianna met in the MTC at the beginning of their missions. They ended up serving in the same mission in Finland, too! I actually dream of one day going to Finland, Sweden, and Norway! I think that it would be such a cool trip. I was joking with them their whole session about how they should be used to the snow by now, but I know better than anyone that just because you grew up or lived in a cold place does not make you used to the cold!
There was quite a bit of snow up at Jordan Pines for their snowy mountain engagements. Brianna wanted a fairly simple background for their engagements, and they liked the idea of snow, too! So Jordan Pines it was!! I shoot up at Jordan Pines in Big Cottonwood ALL THE TIME, and I never get sick of it. I originally wanted to shoot in a certain spot up there, but on our way over there, we sank about knee deep in the snow hahaha! So we turned around and hit up the spot right by the road. It was perfect. Anyone who has been up to Jordan Pines knows the spot I am talking about. We were sharing that little space with three other photoshoots at the same time! We still had plenty of room for our shoot!
The snow was so perfect up there that it looked fake! It was so nice and light and beautiful! They let me throw the snow on them, and I thought that it looked so cool. By the end, they were so cold, but it was worth it, right?
