WINDSWEPT SALT FLATS ENGAGEMENTS – BONNEVILLE SALT FLATS.
Brooke and Austin are so cute together. They opted to have their engagements at the Salt Flats, and you all know how much I love the Salt Flats. It’s a two hour drive for me, and you know what? It is worth every single second of the drive. I would drive that multiple times a week if I needed to!! It’s the coolest place, and it was the first time that both Austin and Brooke had ever been out there. I promise that if you haven’t ever been out there, it will blow you away when you do go. It’s absolutely unreal, and it still blows me away every single time.
As I was driving out to the Flats, it was sooooo windy! When we got there, it was so incredibly windy. Thankfully it wasn’t cold, and it also wasn’t super hot, which I was worried about. Brooke was a little nervous that her yellow dress was too summery for the Salt Flats, but I LOVE the contrast of it! The yellow sure pops against the white salt! For their second outfit, they were in all black, and I also love the contrast of that outfit against the white.
In my opinion, you can never go wrong with an outfit. That location is so incredible versatile and matches everything. You can dress up or dress down or literally dress however you want! It’s awesome, and it’s super easy to work with.
Even though it was so windy and it got dark really fast, Brooke and Austin’s windswept salt flats engagements turned out so beautifully. You probably don’t believe me when I say that it is super windy because it doesn’t look like it in the photos, but believe me – it was so windy!!
