Salt Flats Couples Session – Bonneville Salt Flats.
Don and Ericka booked a couples session with me just a few weeks before they visited Utah. They had a trip planned to Hawaii, but then COVID happened. I am pretty sure that they also had a backup trip planned to Florida, too, but then COVID kept happening. Ultimately, they opted to come to Utah for their trip. I know that I live in Utah, but I really have traveled quite a bit. I have seen more than the average person when it comes to different cool places around the world. Every single time that I come back to Utah, I am BLOWN away with how unique it is. All within a three hour drive from where I live, I have beautiful mountains, lakes, salt flats, black rocks, red rocks, orange rocks, and even sand dunes. LITERALLY it is all here. If you are needing a road trip, Utah should be on your list. You really will feel like you are in a new place every hour or so. It’s so cool.
Don and Ericka fit so much into their trip here in Utah! We met up out at the Salt Flats for their couples session, and I was asking them about how their flight to Utah was. They said that they actually DROVE all the way to Utah from where they live in TEXAS! Now, that’s a road trip. They said that they both love driving, and they actually hit up so many cool spots on their trip. They did hikes, too!
I loved their choice of doing all black for the salt flats. The contrast is freaking rad, and black is so classy, and you cannot go wrong with it.
If you are looking to visit the Salt Flats, I recommend heading to the Rest Stop on the westbound side. You can even drive your car right on down to the Salt Flats from there!
