SaddleRidge Lodge Wedding in Beaver Creek, Colorado.

Joe and Angelea are both from the same state, but met after they had both moved to the same city. Joe messaged Angelea on Instagram, and the rest is history!!! They chose to have their wedding at SaddleRidge Lodge in Beaver Creek, Colorado because they had both attended a wedding there. They fell in love with Beaver Creek, so it was the perfect place to host their wedding, too.

I met these two in person when they came to Utah the year before their wedding for a ski/snowboarding trip. We met up at Tibble Fork to do their engagement session, and WOW it was so cold! They love the snow and the mountains, so having their engagements in the snowy winter mountains of Utah was the perfect contrast to their beautiful July mountain wedding in Beaver Creek. They really got the best of both worlds.

I had never been to Beaver Creek, Colorado before their wedding, and it was BEAUTIFUL. It’s this quaint little resort village and the whole vibe of Beaver Creek is so awesome. Angelea was staying right next to the venue, which made it really easy to jump back and forth between the venue and her place for getting ready photos. The weather that day was threatening rain all day long, and we ended up having the perfect mix of blue skies for the ceremony and overcast/rain for when we were scheduled to be inside.

They opted to do a first look before their ceremony so that we could do family photos, wedding party photos, and some bride and groom portraits before their party officially began. They had their ceremony, followed by a cocktail hour, and then Angelea changed her hair up for the night. Joe and Angelea also opted to have a private dinner with just the two of them, then we snuck outside for about 20 more minutes of photos of the two of them, and then they partied the night away.
