I have been sooooo looking forward to Maddie + Quinn’s wedding since before they were even engaged! I have been a part of their journey for quite a while now. I photographed their proposal, engagements, formals, and then their wedding day. I did Maddie’s older sister’s wedding about a year and a half ago. I have been so excited to see them again and hang out with Maddie’s family, too! My heart was so so happy to see them all again. Really, this family holds such a special place in my heart!!!
Their wedding day was amazing. The zipper on Maddie’s dress broke, and she handled it like a champ. Her aunt literally sewed her into her dress for the day! The weather was so cold and windy right until they walked out. Then, it was so wonderful for us! The wind stopped and it wasn’t too cold anymore.
After family photos and a couple more photos of the couple, we headed to the reception center. They had Magleby’s cater (seriously such a fan of them!), and the food was delicious. Holy cow! Jed and I got to have some pasta before it started and holy cow!!! It seriously was so good! We went outside and took a few more photos of Quinn and Maddie before the festivities began! They had a wonderful dinner, followed by the best speeches. Her dad gave the best speech I think I have ever heard. Oh my goodness, he had us all laughing so hard. I had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard!!
Maddie sang a song to Quinn, and her voice was amazing. I wish I had recorded it so that you could all hear it. Then they danced. Maddie and her dad recorded a song together, and that is what they danced to. Cutest thing ever? Yep, pretty much. Then everyone danced. It was so awesome.
We finished the night off with Quinn’s request to have a photo with me and Jed before they took off. Seriously, such a wonderful day.
Thanks for letting me be a part of it.Â
