DETAILS OF
PROVO TEMPLE WEDDINGÂ + LINDON BEACH FIRST LOOK.
Hunter and Abigail originally had me booked to shoot their wedding at the end of April. We did their engagements, and then shortly after that, things started shutting down due to the virus. These two ultimately decided to move their wedding up a month just in case the temples also closed. Turns out that was the best decision because the day after they were sealed, the temples really did shut down!!
For their first look session, we wanted something close enough to the temple that it was reasonable, but the mountains were still all really gray, which meant that the canyons were out. Thankfully Vineyard Beach looks amazing ALL YEAR LONG! Dead or alive, snow or not, it’s awesome to shoot at. Right when we got there, the clouds came out (BLESS) so it was nice and shady! The spot that we picked for their first look was also pretty intimate, which I really love. I feel like first look’s should be as private and intimate as possible to keep the reactions genuine and keep the couple comfortable.
After we were done at the beach, we headed to the temple. We pulled up and the GATES WERE LOCKED HAHAHA! Of course. So we opted to do their formals at the temple after their wedding that was going to happen a few days later.
On their provo temple wedding day, we had the entire grounds to ourselves. It was so calm (the wind was not so calm), but it was such a pretty day. They had their closest family members there to celebrate with them, and then after their sealing, Hunter and Abby did dinner with one family and dessert with another so that they could do their best to social distance.
