PROVO FOREST FORMALS – PROVO, UTAH.
I am in a Facebook Group for small businesses and photographers. In the group, business owners will post the items that they have and need photographed. It connects all of us so that the business owners can get the photos that they need, and they usually have quite a few different people with different styles to choose from. A little bit ago, a woman who owns Aura Muse posted in the group that she wanted some rings photographed. I immediately fell in love with how unique they are, and I love weddings, so it was perfect. She handmade these rings and then shipped them to me. They ended up taking a while to get to me, but as soon as they came, I was so excited to shoot them!
I am also in a Facebook Group that connects models here in Utah with us photographers. I posted in the group looking for a couple who could model for me, and these two commented. They were PERFECT, and I absolutely loved working with them. The flowers we used were made by my mother-in-law, and the dress we used is actually a wedding dress that I own. I have a closet full of wedding dresses that I can use for shoots, just like this! It makes it way easier to throw together a shoot last minute because I have so many different dresses.
I chose to shoot at this park in Provo. It’s not too far from my house, and it looks like a forest, which made for the perfect provo forest formals. I actually shoot there pretty often, and you would never guess that this is in the middle of town! I even shot Marc + Lindsey’s engagements there!
