PINE TREE FIRST LOOK – BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON
Hunter + Maddy are the sweetest couple. I only did their formal/first look session, and it was such a treat to be a part of. As I walked over to the pine tree spot I had chosen for their first look, I asked Hunter what he thought her dress looked like. As Hunter talked about Maddy, I could tell just how much he loved and adored her. I mean, it’s obvious that all of my couples love each other, but Hunter ADORES Maddy. He truly thinks he is the luckiest man alive to be marrying her, and it’s freaking the cutest thing. THIS IS WHY I LOVE MY JOB SO MUCH! I get to be around people in the happiest moments of their lives.
When Hunter turned around and saw Maddy for the first time, it was so sweet. He kept looking at her, taking it all in, then hugging her. He stepped back, took in all in again, and then embraced her again. He had the biggest smile on his face, and his jaw kept dropping.
Isn’t this location absolutely beautiful?? The wildflowers were in their prime, and we really had this spot all to ourselves, which is not very common for Big Cottonwood Canyon. I love all the different shades of green, along with the gorgeous mountain views in the back. DO MOUNTAINS GET PRETTIER THAN THIS? Because I don’t think that they do. Utah mountains are truly unreal, and I love that I live here.
I also really love the trend of dusty blue bouquets and flowers right now. I loved how the flowers complemented Maddy’s hair so well! I love red hair, and I love how it looks with all of the green!
