LILAC BUSH ANNIVERSARY SESSION.

I don’t even know where to begin with Taylor and Liset. They eloped right at the beginning of Covid. When I say they eloped, I really mean that they eloped. They reached out to me one week before they eloped to see if I was available. I was, and we met at the Salt Flats, and less than one hour later, we were all finished, and they were life long friends of ours. Since then, we have had quite a few food dates and photoshoots, and every time I am around them, I leave feeling SO HAPPY.

These lilac bushes have caused quite the stir in Utah because so many people want to know where they are. I definitely keep this spot as secretive as possible so that it doesn’t get overrun, and it is only in its peak for just over a week. When it’s in bloom, I try and take advantage of it! Literally, I will shoot here almost every single day that it is in bloom!! It happened to be in bloom for Taylor and Liset’s anniversary, so YOU KNOW that it where we did it! This lilac bush was so perfect for their anniversary session, and maybe these are some of my favorite photos EVER. Between how fun it was with them, and how cute their little picnic was, I loved how everything came together.

Now let’s talk about props!! They aren’t ever necessary, but they definitely can add in some fun elements to a photoshoot. Next time you take photos, don’t be afraid to take some hats, cameras, blankets, books, or baskets! Just ask your photographer if they have an suggestions on what to bring and then be ready to have fun.
