Kamas Mountain Proposal
For all of my couples, I offer complimentary proposal coverage. Believe it or not, a lot of my brides have me booked before they are even engaged! It’s a fun way for me to get a hold of them, but also, I love surprises! I love getting to know about the proposals and helping out in them. Plus, it’s fun for my couples to have this special intimate moment photographed.
Zeb reached out to me last week and asked if I was available to come photograph their proposal. We worked out a time that I could come, and he put me in contact with his friend Spencer. Last Friday afternoon, I met Spencer in a random parking lot in Kamas. He had the 4 wheeler with him and some sunglasses and a helmet for me to wear. I put on my camera backpack, and we headed up the mountain! It was quite the bumpy and rocky ride up there! But we finally made it!!
Zeb and Paige met at EFY when they were 14 years old. Back before Zeb’s mission, Paige and Zeb found this tree on the mountain behind Zeb’s home to carve their initials in. On Thursday, Zeb went back up the mountain and found the tree and then also carved “Will you marry me?’ in it, too. He told Paige that they were going to find their tree and look at it, which is how she got up there! Spencer and Zeb had also dug out a little spot for us to hide across the road from the tree! So when they drove up, she didn’t see us! He really did think of everything! It was awesome and so so cute! I am so happy that I got to be part of their kamas mountain proposal!
