Fall Mountain Engagements – Provo, Utah

Hunter and Emily are so cute! They actually get married this week, so I wanted to blog their engagements! I actually met these two when they got engaged because I photographed their proposal. I worked with Hunter to help him set up and surprise Emily, and it was so special! I sure love being able to be there when my couples get engaged so that they can have that moment documented. I will never forget hiding in the trees waiting for Emily to walk up and see Hunter waiting for her! You can even look at their proposal here on my blog.

For their engagements, they chose this meadow in Vivian Park. I actually shoot there quite often, and I really love it! I actually think that this spot has the best fall leaves in all of Provo Canyon. The trees get vibrant red and orange, and then with the contrast of the yellow grass, the colors really pop. We were even up there a few weeks after the prime fall colors, and we were still able to get lots of colors! This spot in particular is a pretty popular location. Oftentimes when you go, there are lots of people there. BUT, it is such a big meadow with all different views, so no matter when you go and no matter how many people are there, you will for sure be able to find a spot to shoot with a really pretty mountain view behind you. I mean, where else would you be able to find a place with a 360 degree view of mountains?

I also really loved the outfits they chose, too! I love how they contrast the colors! It really lets the colors pop, and it’s absolutely perfect for their fall mountain engagements.
