JORDAN PINES MOUNTAIN ENGAGEMENTS – BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON – SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH.

I still remember the first day that I met Aricka. I had just started a job for BYU Sports Camps, and she was in there helping me get settled into my new position. She quickly became one of my best friends, and we were together everyday both at work and after work. We went on so many trips together and also have so many memories together. Aricka set me up with more boys than anyone else did, and she was always looking out for me. We had so many fun and eventful days of work throughout the summers. It was one of my favorite jobs I ever had, and a lot of that had to do with getting to work with Aricka.

I got a text from Aricka earlier this year saying that she was getting married. Aricka met Michael when she moved into his neighborhood and he came over to help her move in. They started dating shortly after that, then were engaged not too long after that. I met Michael when he proposed to Aricka, but I really started to get to know him at their engagements. Even though Aricka and I were together all the time in college, she moved to Salt Lake right around the time that I got married. We don’t see each other very often anymore, so I actually didn’t meet Michael at all before they were engaged.

We did their mountain engagements at jordan pines in Big Cottonwood Canyon. It was so green and beautiful when we took these! The grass is not green for very long during the summer, so we caught it right in time. There were even some wildflowers up there! Then the pine trees are always a favorite of mine.
