Jordan Pines Formals in Salt Lake City, Utah + Salt Lake City Temple.
Benjamin and Christi met working in the Provo City Center Temple together. Once they decided to get married, they only had a small window of time that they could pull it off and still have Christi’s sister come to the wedding before having her baby. I think they planned the entire wedding in just a few short weeks, but it came together beautifully.
Jordan Pines Campground is located up Big Cottonwood Canyon, and it’s one of the prettiest meadows (in my opinion) in northern Utah. It’s super easy to get to, and the colors are usually so vibrant and pretty. Even though it is a pretty popular location, the actual meadow is so large that there’s usually plenty of room for everyone to shoot. You can have shots right up in the trees or have them a little more in the back, too. It’s even a great place in the Winter, which you can see in Erin and Brian’s engagements.
I asked Christi where she bought her wedding dress, and she told me that she had actually interned with a dress shop a few years earlier, and they had let her pick out a wedding dress at the very end! This is the one she chose! It was such a blessing that she had her dress when they needed to get married in a few weeks! She said that they had just needed to alter it a little bit, and she was good to go!
The florals were done by Marianne from Mille Fleur Design, and she always kills it. Her florals look incredible, and the colors Christi chose were also so pretty!!! Everything came together so perfectly for their Jordan Pines Formals.
