JORDAN PINES FAMILY PHOTOS – BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON – SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH

I normally do not do family photos. I don’t do them very often, and even though I love kids, I don’t feel like I am super good at getting them to look at the camera. I always refer people out when they inquire about family photos, but now, a lot of my couples come back to me asking for family photos, and I cannot say no. I absolutely love getting to see my couples each year and staying caught up on their lives. It really does make me so happy!!!

Russ and Cheri got married three years ago, just a month before Kellon and I got married. At the time, Cheri’s dad was the mission president of the Washington, DC mission, so we all flew to DC for them to be married. Cheri had the prettiest wedding dress, and it had a pink skirt! Russ had the coolest maroon suit. I had such an incredible time with them, and since then, I have done quite a few of their friend’s weddings, too! I have gotten to see them at least every year.

Last year, they welcomed their little Delilah to their family, and I was able to do her newborn photos. She is the cutest! She just wanted to look right at me the whole time and smile. SERIOUSLY MADE MY JOB SO EASY! As soon as she figured out she could walk all around, that’s all she wanted to do.

Cheri picked out Jordan Pines for their family photos, and we were even family to snag some of the last fall colors of the season. Their outfits fit the location (and temperature haha) perfectly! I love the tall grass and the pine trees, and I always will!!
