DETAILS OF
Fall Temple Bridals – Salt Lake City, Utah – Temple Square
McCall actually had a different photographer for her wedding day, formals, and engagements. She realized after their formals were taken that they didn’t get any photos of just her, and she needed them for her reception. The only problem was that her photographer was out of town and could not take these photos for her in time for her wedding. Thankfully, I had a wedding at the temple already on the day that she needed her bridals taken, so we spent 30 minutes before my bride walked out to get these for her.
McCall’s fiancĂ© even got to come with her, and then we snagged a photo of them together at the end.
McCall’s fall bridals were some of the last ones that I did at the Salt Lake Temple before it closed for the next few years. Each time I do photos at this temple, it reminds me of my own wedding. This is where I got married! Not only did I get married here, but I grew up with my Grandma living across the street from it. All growing up, I would watch out her sliding glass doors and count how many brides I could see on Temple Square that day. I would use binoculars to see what their dresses looked like, and I also spent a lot of time walking around Temple Square. It truly holds my heart. Now that I spend even more time on Temple Square now photographing brides, it’s pretty surreal that I get to do that. I cannot believe that I don’t get to have any weddings there for quite a few more years.
Until it opens back up, I will just be looking for every single reason to post photos from my past sessions there! I cannot wait for when it reopens, and I cannot wait to see all of the changes they are going to make to the grounds.
