Desert Engagements – Phoenix, Arizona.
I met Ryan and Cachae a few years ago when I was visiting Arizona. They answered my model call that I put out on Instagram, and we met up at a cool desert park for a quick mini session. We kept in touch over time, so when I was back in Phoenix for another wedding, I reached out to see if we could shoot together again for styled engagements in the desert.
I love how much these two love each other. Ryan is a phenomenal photographer, too! He is always on the road, and these two seem to travel to the coolest places. If I could tag along with them all over the place, I would in a heartbeat. I don’t think I would ever get sick of photographing them.
Cachae is a flower farmer, and her Instagram is one of my favorites to follow along with. She is so dang cute. She had recently been diagnosed with Vitiligo when we did this shoot, so she requested that we capture it on her arms. Isn’t she beautiful??
Can we talk about their style for a moment, too?!? Anyone who knows me knows that I am such a jumpsuit lover. I believe her Jumpsuit is from Free People. I didn’t give them any suggestions for their outfits–this is just what they wore! The rust, ivory, and brown match the green and colors of the desert so perfectly.
It was SO HOT, but I also am a fan of the heat, so no complaints from me. We enjoyed the sun going down and also capturing the sunset, too. A silhouette of a cactus is one of the coolest things to me.
