Dead Horse Point Honeymoon Formals – Moab, Utah – Dead Horse Point State Park
Chris and Brooke get married in a very small 10-person intimate wedding in California. They decided to honeymoon in Utah because everything in California was still shut down. They honeymooned in Zion and in Moab, and I met them Dead Horse Point for their honeymoon formals. The weather was BEAUTIFUL! I mean, Dead Horse looks so pretty at all different times of the year and with all different kinds of weather, but my favorite is when it is cloudy. The colors at Dead Horse just POP when the sun isn’t out, and I love it. I have a running joke with my friends that I bring the clouds wherever I go–even when clouds are not in the forecast. Sure enough, right on cue, the clouds rolled in the minute that I got there and stayed most of the shoot! The sun popped out right as the sun was setting, and it created such pretty backlight. It was so calm and beautiful as we watched the sun set.
Aren’t these ledges nuts? Someone once asked me how close to the edge my couples really stand, and I promise there are no optical illusions here! They really do stand that close to the edge, and it also really is a ledge!
Chris and Brooke are so cute! Isn’t Brooke’s smile the prettiest smile? They actually met because they work together! I am such a fan of a black suit, especially against red rock. Brooke’s dress was stunning, and it had the prettiest lace! Brooke’s veil was also stunning! You know that I am such a fan of cathedral veils! The way that it falls around them and follows her as she walks is my absolute favorite.
