BEST PLANNERS FOR 2019

What better time of the year to pick out a new planner than right now? Most planners start in January anyways, so it’s the perfect time to search for the best one. There are a few characteristics that I am always looking for when I buy a planner, so this is a list I have compiled of both planners that I like and the ones that others recommended to me. Hopefully this list helps you guys! I have also added links to amazon for each planner to help make it easier, too.

  1. I bought the “Parent Planner” this year, and I am so excited about it. It has a different page for each day, along with a timeline of the day so that you can schedule in what you have each hour. This works great for me when I have photoshoots and meetings with clients. This one also has a budget page for each month, a weekly grocery list, and a weekly meal plan. I LOVE all of those details, so that is why I chose this planner.

2. Quite a few people recommended the Happy Planner. From what I can see, this one is an 18-month planner, which is GREAT! I have used and 18-month planner before, and it really was awesome because sometimes people book their weddings out so far in advance. SO, that is great. It looks like it has a place for each day, with lines to write, but not times on the lines where you can make your schedule. You just sort of free-hand your schedule for each day. Some people like that, and if you do, then this would be a great planner for you!

3. When I was searching on Amazon, the Day Designer kept popping up. They have super cute covers, which I love, and the layout is very similar to the Happy Planner above. They have lines for each day, but they also have a to do list with check boxes next to them.

4. However, the MOST recommended planner was Golden Coil. People said that they are a bit pricey, but totally worth it. I don’t have an amazon link for Golden Coil because you have to design it on your own. You can just google Golden Coil. You get to choose the cover, the start and end date, and the layout. I just threw one together, and it was $65 before shipping. So yes, definitely pricey, but if you can’t find one that suits you, that would be a good way to go! Other than the fact that they are out of most of the covers. Haha! But I love that you can choose the start date and end date of your planner.
