WINDY SALT FLATS ELOPEMENT.

Donald and Ashley wanted to elope at the Salt Flats, and if you know me, you know that I love the Salt Flats. As beautiful as they are, one thing that is always a gamble is the weather. Not even the weather apps are very accurate when it comes to the weather. Storms can come out of nowhere, or it can be the clearest most beautiful weather. The Salt Flats are also known for getting extremely windy, and this night was no exception for their windy salt flats elopement.

When we showed up, it was SOOOOO windy. One of the windiest I had ever seen the Salt Flats. We had to set the arbor up in a certain direction so that it would not blow over. We also set them up as best we could so that the wind would work with them and not against them during their ceremony. The ceremony was simple and beautiful, and they were both so giddy and happy the whole time. They were so excited to just be getting married!

Donald and Ashley had just one guest at their ceremony, besides us, and that guest was their puppy! Their pup ran around and was so happy during their ceremony, and had so much fun following them around as we took their photos afterwards, too. They even brought her a little floral collar.

The sun made an appearance at the very end of their night for just about a minute or two, and the whole evening was just so beautiful.

Ashley and Donald kept it very simple with their ceremony. Kellon (my husband) officiated, and we also brought the arbor and rug with us, too. Ashley got her dress from Lulu’s. I love the look of the black suit, too! Keeping it all black and white at the salt flats is SO CLASSY!!
