TY AND JESSICA | GOBLIN VALLEY RED ROCKS FORMALS

I love these two so much! Jessica is my cousin, and my extended family is super close. I don’t know if all families are like that, but mine is way close. We used to get together for reunions once or twice a year. As all of us grandkids have gotten older and started our own families, we don’t get together that often anymore, but we do still stay in touch. I do see the cousins probably more than most of the other cousins do, especially when I get to take their wedding photos. I LOVED getting to know Ty while we drove to Goblin Valley and also all the time that we spent in Goblin Valley. Because I was in charge of a game for the bridal shower, I got to ask them quite a few questions in the car. It was so fun getting to know them and their relationship even more.

When Jessica asked if we could go to Goblin Valley, my answer was immediately a yes. I had never been there, nor had I ever seen photos there, so I was pumped. I also love when my couples are willing to do something out of the norm. They both love hiking and being outside, so it was perfect that they wanted to do Goblin Valley. It was so fun to go explore the park for the first time. The rock formations were so unique! We spend the first 2 hours walking around and trying to find a way to climb to the top of the rocks. We couldn’t find a way up there, so we decided to shoot in the valley. It actually ended up being perfect. The light was fun and different, and these two were willing to do anything! It honestly was such a blast.
