THOUSAND PEAKS RANCH ENGAGEMENTS – OAKLEY, UTAH.
Spencer is my cousin, and he texted me a few weeks ago to see if I could shoot his and Cindy’s engagements while we were at our family cabin the following week. My family calls this place “The Weber”. It’s a ranch that has been handed down generations, and my great grandpa built a cabin on it. That cabin is now shared with my grandpa and all of his siblings. Since the cabin is only accessible during the summer months, and it is rotated between all the siblings, my family gets to spend a total of two weeks there each year. It’s pretty off the grid and miles away from any service, which is probably the best part. If I could go live there, I would. It really is one of my favorite places in the whole world. The scenery is so pretty, and because it’s my family’s property, it’s also a super unique location. I mean, do you know anyone else who has thousand peaks ranch engagements? I am all about the green grass, the wildlife, and all the pine trees. Depending on the month up there, there are oftentimes wildflowers covering the place up there. It’s so cool! Plus, there was a big moose that hung out right by our cabin all week long. It’s basically a tradition now to have a moose up there every summer.
Cindy’s dog, Chippy, joined them on their photoshoot, and I am so happy that we got to get some photos with Chippy in them! We love having dogs up at the Weber, and Chippy was such a chill dog to have! Seriously, we all loved her. Unfortunately, about a week after the Weber, Chippy passed away. I was so so sad to hear that news, but it made me so grateful that we got Chippy in their engagements.
