SPRING LILAC BUSH BRIDALS. UTAH VALLEY.
If you know me, you know that I love color. I love the seasons when colors are vibrant, so it’s pretty obvious that I love the spring time, and I love the fall time. Each season only lasts a few short weeks, I try and make the most out of the time that we do have! For as long as I can remember, I have been taking advantage of the lilac bushes!! Lilacs are only in their prime for about a week, so I have to watch very carefully for when it is time!!

Sometimes I do a lot of sessions at the lilac bushes, and other times, I don’t do very many at all. This year in particular, I only did one spring lilac bush bridals session with Taylor at the lilacs. I own a handful of wedding dresses that I rent out and that I use for different photoshoots. It’s actually so nice to have them on hand for shoots like this! Isn’t this dress just so incredibly beautiful?!? It’s got a slit up the skirt, sparkles everywhere, and the perfect amount of beading.

I met Taylor probably 6 or 7 years ago when she modeled for me then. Now, fast forward so many years, and I still love shooting with her! I absolutely loved how the spring lilac bridals turned out. I love the greens and the colors of the lilacs. Then the contrast of her dark hair? I am such a fan.

It’s funny how things change as you get older. Now, anytime I see a lilac bush, I make a mental note of it and watch for it to bloom during spring time! I think they are so pretty! But when I was growing up, we had a lilac bush at my house, and I thought it was so ugly! I am pretty sure my parents cut it down when I was pretty young!
