Snowy Mountain Couple Shoot – Tibble Fork

I grew up in Southeast Idaho, but more specifically, I grew up in the country and my house was surrounded by potato fields. Every winter, we got snow, and some winters, we go A LOT of snow. If you’ve ever been to Southeast Idaho, then you also know that there’s a lot of wind. In fact, there’s probably always wind. It’s kind of annoying. What happens when you mix snow with wind? You get drifts. Lots of them. I even remember one year in high school, we had probably a few weeks worth of snow days, and it was the best! I know how to drive in snow and on bad roads, and I have been in plenty of snow storms, but I have never been in a blizzard like this! It was so fun but also so nuts!

Zeb reached out to me in December and wanted to give his wife Paige a photoshoot with their little puppy. I was lucky enough to do their proposal, engagements, formals, and wedding day, and I LOVE these two. I was so happy when Zeb told me the plan! Once Christmas came, Paige told me that she was hoping for pictures in the snow. We saw this it was supposed to snow this day, but we honestly did not know it would snow this much!! It was crazy!! It was raining as we started driving up the canyon, and by the time we reached Tibble Fork, it was a full blizzard. We jumped out and only shot for probably 25 minutes, and they were drenched! It probably snowed a few inches while we were there! Buffalo was also so cold and shivering, but Kellon kept him wrapped up in a blanket as much as we could! Isn’t he so cute?
