DETAILS OF
SNOWY FUN ENGAGEMENT SESSION.
Hannah is my little sister, and these two decided to get married just a month after getting engaged. We had planned to take their engagements a little later on, but as soon as they decided to move their wedding up, we decided to shoot the next day. It was a blizzard, and we were all pumped about it. We chose this spot in a field next to my parents house and shot for about 20 minutes and called it good! It was such a fun and snowy engagement session!! One thing about me is that I am super quick and efficient, so if we are ever in a time crunch, I can get the job done!
I love shooting in snow. It’s usually cold, but honestly, not as cold as when it is not snowing. For some reason, it’s a little warmer with snow falling! I love how the snow falling gives the background just a really pretty sheet of white, and I love the snowflakes that show up in between the camera and the couple. It’s just so pretty!!! If it’s winter, I would most definitely prefer to shoot when the snow is falling.
ALSO, when you are shooting in the snow, the best thing you can wear is COLOR or something dark! White or cream or light colored clothes disappear in the snow, so I really loved the colors that Hannah and Stockton chose to wear. Their outfits complement each other and pop against the snow, too. They really were perfect for their snowy fun engagement session.
Hannah’s ring is from Wilson Diamonds, and if you are anywhere near Provo, Utah, I would highly recommend getting your rings from them!! I actually also got my ring from them, and we also had such a wonderful experience.
