RED ROCK MOAB ELOPEMENT AT DEAD HORSE POINT STATE PARK
–
If you have spent any time on my website at all, then it is no secret that Dead Horse Point State Park is one of my favorite places on planet earth. I never get sick of visiting there, and I most definitely do not get sick of photographing red rock elopement there or anywhere in Moab. These two reached out only a few weeks before they eloped to plan everything, so this is a true elopement, and it was so beautiful!!

When we arrived, it was actually pretty windy and pretty chilly. Don’t let that sunshine fool you–Dead Horse can be pretty cold in the winter, even if there isn’t any snow. Sierra came prepared with the perfect shawl that matched the red rocks so well. It kept her as warm as we possibly could, and she was such a champ in the cold!

Rob and Sierra had two kids back home–a 4-month-old, and a 14-month-old. They are so in love, and it’s so cute how much they adore each other. I mean, the way Rob looks at her? It is the cutest thing. He was telling us that he fell in love with her beautiful eyes, and Sierra really does have such pretty eyes.

We started the day with a first look right about 2:00, followed by a ceremony. Then we spent some time doing photos at Dead Horse Point State Park before heading to our second location, which we stayed at until the sun went down. It was the perfect day with them.

The flowers were done by Suzann Parkinson, who is based out of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and her business is Wildwood Floral Co. Sierra’s hair and makeup was done by Aubri at Sage and Stone in Moab. This isn’t my first time working with either of them, and I do highly recommend them both!!
