RED ROCK ELOPEMENT IN MOAB, UTAH // ANTONIO + JASHIRA

Moab, Utah is one of the most unique places in the whole world. Why not elope in the middle of the red rocks of Moab, and the amazing views from Dead Horse Point? It’s absolutely breathtaking every single time that I go. Red rock elopements in Moab honestly hold my heart. I mean, can I not after these two weddings there?

Antonio and Jashira met and dated in high school. Then, time went on, they broke up, and they went their separate ways. Ten years later, they reconnected, dated, and got married earlier this year. At their wedding, it was a very simple ceremony with just their family there. They didn’t have any wedding attire, either. So when they decided to plan a trip to Utah, they also decided to have the wedding they didn’t do earlier this year.

When Jashira and I initially started talking about their photos, they were super open to lots of different locations, so I sent them a list of my recommendations for here in Utah. They ultimately chose to do Moab, AND YOU KNOW THAT I LOVE MOAB. Where else in the world are you going to find two national parks and a state park so close together? There are so many different colors of rocks there. From orange to white to red to blue to purple and every other shade in between.

The rocks in Arches are very different than the red rock in Dead Horse Point, and even different from the rocks in Canyonlands National Park. When we looked around at the different location options, we really felt like Dead Horse Point was exactly what we were looking for.

Jashira came super prepared with her hiking boots, and Antonio looked so good in his all black suit! I could not have hand selected a more perfect dress for Jashira, and Marianne KILLED the bouquet game. It was exactly what Jashira wanted, and it was the perfect color scheme for the rocks. I had such a blast with these two. Jashira had me laughing so hard the entire time!! I love them both so much.
