DETAILS OF
RAINY MOAB ADVENTURE ELOPEMENT.
Austin and Tobey’s elopement rainy Moab adventure elopement is easily one of my favorite elopements I have ever done. We met in Arches National Park before the sun rose, and it was a complete downpour. It was so dark, even after the time when the sun was supposed to be up. We waited in our cars until it was light enough to begin. The combination of being so early in the morning and being so stormy made it so that we had the whole arch to ourselves the entire time we were there. Their ceremony was so beautiful and intimate–just what they wanted. Tobey was so happy to climb all over the rocks for the photos, and didn’t they turn out so beautifully? The blue sky also made an appearance for some of their photos!! Red rocks and blue skies complement each other so well.
After their ceremony, we decided to go take a little nap and get some breakfast and then meet up later that afternoon to finish their photos. We were going to give the weather a chance to clear up, too. We met back up at Dead Horse Point State ParkĀ , and it did still storm a bit off and on. It was surprisingly chilly, but they were champs about it! The overcast sky was so beautiful, and the rocks being all wet made them so vibrant and colorful, too. It’s honestly my favorite scenario for red rocks! While we were at Dead Horse for their rainy Moab adventure elopement, we had both rain and snow!
We finished off the day at my favorite red rock spot while it poured rain. We also pulled out the umbrella for a few photos to remember the rain, and then we called it a day! It was such a gorgeous day!! Even with the rain and snow, I loved every second of it.
Tobey’s dress is from Lulu’s, and last I checked, it is still available on their website.
Are you thinking about eloping in Moab? I LOVE Moab and would love to chat with you!!
