Photographer/Vendor Commercial Licensing Agreement

This contract is for all of you photographers who share images with vendors or businesses. It lays out what can and cannot be done with the images, and it can be customized to match the terms you want to set. This contract basically states that vendors may use the images on social media and websites, only with giving proper credit. If the vendor wants to use them for more than that, they will need to pay for the rights to do so.

Before I used this contract, I was finding my images being used in magazines, billboards, posters, and all over the internet without both my consent and the rights to do so (aka illegally). I wanted a better way to manage who had access to my images, and I wanted it very clear in which ways the images can be used. Now that I have this contract and talk through everything with the vendors I work with, it has drastically reduced the ways in which my images are used illegally. The contract is very straight forward.

The contract is downloadable immediately after purchase in a .docx format. You can edit it in Microsoft Word or upload to Google Docs to edit there as well.
