Boho Pampas Grass Bridals – Utah Lake – Vineyard Beach
I bought this wedding dress over a year ago because I had been dying to shoot it from the moment I saw it. I wanted my first shoot with it to be perfect, but honestly, I couldn’t even think of who I wanted to wear the dress. I also was not sure what vision I even had for the dress.
Then, I went to Vineyard Beach. The pampas grass was INCREDIBLE (also honestly, I don’t even think it’s real pampas grass, but I don’t know what else to call it! Hahaha! It’s just dead cattails!). I found multiple spots that would be perfect for photos, and as I talked with my friend Baylie, we both agreed that this would be a great spot to shoot the star dress. We also had been talking for months about who we could put into the dress, and when we both saw Abbey at a party, we looked at each other and both were like, “DUH, of course we should use ABBEY!!!” Abbey really was the perfect bride for our pampas grass bridals.
Baylie and Abbey know each other from growing up, and I met Abbey when she walked into a party with a boy I liked, and I was at the party with the boy she liked. We lived in the same complex right by each other, and Abbey became one of my best friends. We spent almost everyday together, and then we have kept in touch even after we both moved out. She is one of those people who is always smiling and happy and GENUINELY CARES AND LOVES every single person she comes in contact with. Every time I am around Abbey, I feel so happy. I really love her and think the world of her.
