DETAILS OF
MT CHARLESTON FORMALS – LAS VEGAS, NEVADA
Austin and Hannah are the best. I really do think the world of them! Hannah and I go all the way back to middle school, which is where we kind of met. She was my cousin’s best friend, and we played each other in sports, so as time went on, we got to know each other. We have kept in touch, and after she graduated from college, she ended up in Utah! She and Austin got engaged right as the COVID-19 virus was going nuts. There were so many unknowns with their wedding, and honestly, they just had to play it by ear. Austin lived in Las Vegas, and Hannah lived here in Utah Valley, so they couldn’t postpone their wedding. They needed to get married so that they could finally live in the same city and under the same roof.
I got to take their engagements while Austin was visiting Hannah. Because traveling was so hard, Hannah’s original wedding photographer ended up not working out. Her family was able to find a photographer in Idaho to cover their wedding day, but when it came to their formals, I got to go to Las Vegas to do that. It was the middle of August, and it was roughly 120 degrees in Las Vegas, so they chose to do their formals at Mt Charleston since it was up in the mountains and supposed to be a lot cooler. It sure was, too! It was only about 80 degrees up there, and it felt so good! We found some beautiful spots with amazing pine trees, as well as a spot with really awesome Joshua Trees. We sure had fun getting their wedding photos. These two were such good sports about being spontaneous and just going with the flow for their wedding.
