MOUNTAIN PINE WEDDING – BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON – SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH

It was such an honor to get to photograph Nate and Ashlyn’s wedding. Ashlyn is also a photographer, and I love her work. When a photographer trusts me with their wedding, it’s a big deal to me. Truly an honor. You can even check out their engagements by clicking right here.

Ashlyn and Nate love the outdoors. They actually met through being in the same friend group, so they went from friends to falling in love with each other. They spend a lot of time outdoors, so what better place to get married than in the mountains that Ashlyn grew up by? Ashlyn and Nate were also such champs because their wedding happened right in the middle of the COVID-19 craziness. They had so many unknowns thrown at them!! They were just so happy that they could get married and pull it off!

They got married at the Jordan Pines Campground, and Ashlyn’s cute grandpa performed their ceremony. It was the sweetest ceremony, and I was so touched by how proud he was of them. He couldn’t stop smiling. It was the perfect wedding with a mountain view with pine trees. Following their ceremony, they had a reception in the trees with all of their family and friends. Their parent’s gave speeches, and then I stole them away for their portraits before coming back to dance the night away. Ashlyn did a slow dance with each of her brothers and then with her dad. She is so close with her brothers (she even has a twin brother!!), and I loved that she wanted to dance with each of them on her wedding day!

Aren’t they just the happiest couple?!? You can just tell how much they love each other, and I love them so much.
