I love these two so much. Sanah reached out to me quite a bit before her wedding and asked if I could come photograph it. My schedule was already pretty booked up for the dates that she was asking for, but I was able to rearrange some things and make it work. I AM SO GLAD THAT IT WORKED OUT! The days that I was able to spend with these two were so much fun. It was so extravagant and lovely, and they treated me like family. I was in tears as I left their wedding because I did not want my time with them to be over.
Jamal and Sanah’s marriage was actually arranged. I was surprised when they told me because they just seemed to be so perfect for each other. Like, I couldn’t have hand picked a better couple myself! They are also the prettiest couple I have ever seen. Sanah had the most beautiful dresses. I was so happy when we were able to set up a time to meet up in Central Park to photograph just the two of them after their wedding.
I had spent all summer exploring NYC just searching for the place I wanted to do their photos. When I went to this fountain in Central Park, I knew it was perfect. Everything about it was so perfect for everything that I wanted for their portraits.
