ECOLA STATE PARK ELOPEMENT – OREGON COAST
Cole and Victoria’s Ecola State Park elopement is easily the most memorable elopement we have ever done. I still remember our first zoom call where they told me their plans, and I was beyond pumped. I absolutely LOVE Oregon, and their elopement sounded like a dream.
We blocked off a week on my calendar and they were going to decide exactly which day as it got closer and as they finalized other vendors. They decided on a specific date, so I finalized my travel plans and planned to get there a day early to scope out the location for the elopement. When I woke up that morning, and I was eating breakfast, I got a text from Victoria asking if I was already in town. When I told her that I was, she said that the weather was going to be really bad the next day, so she was wondering if I was available to do the elopement that day. I said that I was available, and she said she was going to check with the other vendors to see if we could all do that day.
I got a text about an hour later saying that everyone was ready, and we were going to do it! I ran to Ecola State Park to location scout and picked out a few spots for the elopement. I took photos of them on my phone, and then we headed to meet Cole and Victoria to get started. We met up at the airbnb, and they got all ready! Once they were ready, we went to the beach for their first look. Because we were doing the elopement a day early, we started quite a few hours later than we had planned for their original date, but we were going to pull it all off!
Right after the first look, we jumped in their vintage Land Rover Defender and all headed to Ecola! We jammed out to the tapes they had in their defender, and when we got to Ecola, we jumped out and headed to the spot that I had picked out. Kellon married them, then we took some photos on the beach and in the forest on our way back to their Airbnb. When we got back, there was a picnic set up on the beach for them, and then they finished off the night with a 12-course meal made by a chef they had hired to come make it for them. They sat at the table and read letters from their families and cut their cake. It was SUCH a perfect day.
