DENIM MOMMY AND ME PHOTOSHOOT IN MY STUDIO

I have dreamt of owning a studio for so many years! I was so close to signing a lease on a studio in Salt Lake City, but the day before we were going to sign everything, she backed out. Since then, I searched high and low for a studio, and I even asked a realtor to help me find a space! I looked for years, and I finally found a studio in Spanish Fork last year! I saw a post on Facebook about a studio that had a spot open up, so I contacted the owner, toured the space, and decided it was perfect for what I needed. So NOW, I have my own studio! I can use all the seamless paper that I want and shoot there all I want. It’s amazing.

Alexa and I go wayyyy back. Before I even knew her, I wanted to know her. I finally met her years ago, and honestly, we clicked from the very beginning. We instantly became friends, and we have done so many photoshoots together since then! We both became moms last year, and Alexa is the sweetest mom to her little Charlie. I truly felt so honored that she would let me shoot her mommy and me session. It was her idea to do all denim, and it looks so cool!! The dark blue seamless paper was perfect with the denim.

We also did a Valentine’s photoshoot with her little family! Charlie lasted about four minutes, and we got everything we needed in that time. How precious are these photos and her little face? I loved the black and white and pink with the RED LIP.

People usually ask me what the backdrop here is, and it is seamless paper! I have so many different colors that I use, and I love them all. I get my paper from 1 of 3 places. First, Amazon. Second, B&H Photo and Video, and the Pictureline in SLC.
