DAWSON + SHANTHI, BLACKFOOT IDAHO WEDDING AND GRAND TETON FORMAL SESSION

In Shanthi’s original email to me, she asked if I would ever travel to Blackfoot, Idaho, to shoot a wedding. Little did she know that little town was my hometown! So of course I would go back there! Shanthi had always dreamed of getting married in a little white church with a red door, and there just happened to be one in Blackfoot. She and Dawson flew in with their families and friends to get married in the little white church that is just a block from one of the school’s that I went to. It honestly is the smallest little church I have ever been in. It’s SO SMALL, but it definitely provided the perfect intimate setting.

Right after their ceremony, we headed to Idaho Falls for their dinner. We woke up the next morning and headed to Grand Teton National Park for their day after session. Honestly, day after sessions are the best thing!!!! Choosing to spend time outside of your wedding day to focus on the wedding couple is such a smart thing. The stress of the big day is over, and you get to spend your big day focusing on spending time with the people all around you. You can relax and spend more time getting the beautiful portraits of you two, which is exactly what we did.
