I absolutely love fall time. I love how crisp the air is, and I love how colorful the leaves get. One of my favorite parts of photography is colors, and I try to keep my colors very true to color, so fall time is so fun for me. It’s really so cool to see these colors just appear in nature.

Jonah and Courtney are one of my real couples. They got married a few years ago in California, and it was so fun to have them model for these colorful fall wedding photos. They are two of the sweetest people, and they are so cute together. They have the best style, and I had an absolute blast shooting with them again.

Provo Canyon is one of my favorite places to find fall leaves. Big Cottonwood Canyon has lots of yellow leaves, and Provo Canyon has red, orange, and yellow leaves. It has ALL the colors, and it’s one of my go-to’s every single time that fall rolls around. Especially because it last so long in Provo Canyon. The colors start at the top and take a few weeks to make it to the bottom, so the entire duration of fall, you can find colorful leaves as long as you are willing to scout out the locations!

The dress we used is from my rentals, and my mother-in-law made me the bouquet. She is a florist, and I wanted a bouquet that was dried so that I could have it on hand to use on any shoot that I had. It ended up being the most perfect bouquet for this shoot. I loved how neutral it was so that the colors in the leaves could really pop. They just worked together instead of competing for the attention.
