CATHEDRAL GORGE FIRST LOOK – NEVADA.

Kelsey and I go way back. I’ve known her since she was 1 year old. Kelsey and I grew up across the street from each other, and she was my best friend. She is just as much a sibling to me as my actual blood siblings are. She was my first model I ever used for photos, and we spent hours every week for years just taking photos. We would always go on “photoshoots”, which were so much fun and honestly so funny to look back on. You can even look back at some of the photos here.

All growing up, Kelsey would always tell me that I would be the one to shoot her wedding. When the day came that she got engaged, she also told me that I was going to be doing her photos. I didn’t know Conner until he came to do their engagements, and he fit in so well. He’s now like a brother to me. Conner is actually a videographer, and we work together pretty often, which is my favorite thing.

These two told me from the very beginning that they trusted me 100% with the locations for their engagement photos and wedding photos. I looked at my list of places I wanted to shoot at, and this was easily at the top of the list. Cathedral Gorge was the perfect spot for their first look. I showed it to them, and we all agreed this was it. Kelsey opted to not have flowers for her formals, and I loved how simple and neutral all the colors were. It was actually incredibly chilly, but you would never know that! These two did so good!!! If you have not ever been to this place, add it to your list RIGHT NOW because it is so cool!! It’s easy to see the whole park in a day!
